Irish actor Colin Farrell has revealed how he lost so much weight for his new movie Triage, in which he plays a journalist on a dangerous assignment.
The star lost a whopping 44 pounds (19.9 kilograms), but it seems he may not have chosen the healthiest way to do it.
He said he survived on only black coffee, Diet Coke and two tins of tuna a day, which he remarked was not enjoyable.
"It was kind of depressing," Farrell remarked, adding that the rather strange choice of diet was not "healthy" or "advisable".
However, he said that as soon as filming was over, he "ate like a pig" in order to regain his usual physique.
This kind of fad diet is not seen as a healthy way to lose weight - instead, those wishing to lose a few pounds are advised to follow a nutritionally-balanced diet, but may also wish to try weight loss supplements to support them.
