British actress Emily Blunt has revealed that she resorted to guzzling doughnuts on the set of The Devil Wears Prada after being forced to diet by producers.
The 25-year-old played an image obsessed fashion assistant in the 2006 movie and said that she was left unsatisfied by her character's meagre rations.
"My character was surviving on cubes of cheese at one point. I was being watched like a hawk, but by the end I'd be sneaking in doughnuts just to annoy the producers," she revealed in an interview with Harper's Bazaar.
Colin Farrell also said in October that he followed a strict regime for his movie Triage, surviving on only black coffee, Diet Coke and two tins of tuna a day
