GMTV has announced that Mr Motivator is to make a television comeback to encourage viewers to get up and work out in the mornings.
Real name Derrick Evans, Mr Motivator became a cult figure in the 1990s, when he performed aerobic workouts clad in skin-tight neon lycra.
The 56-year-old is now all set to take up his role again early next year.
He said he is excited to be given another chance to get the nation on its feet.
"Britain has got fat together, now it's time to get fit together," he added.
Meanwhile, ITV is also to launch another fitness campaign next year to encourage Britain to get fit.
The Feelgood Factor, which will be screened in January, is set to feature a host of celebrities who will urge members of the public to get off the sofa and participate in challenges and dancing.
Former Brookside actress Claire Sweeney is already confirmed as one of those taking part.
