A new diet based on the Atkins craze seen a few years ago is becoming popular among celebrity circles, it has been reported.
According to Fabulous magazine, Jennifer Aniston has adopted the new Atkins regime, which now allows dieters to eat small amounts of bread, pasta and fruit.
Previously, they were strictly limited, which many people found hard to put up with and which experts warned could see followers becoming deficient in vital vitamins.
The old regime also necessitated eating large amounts of red meat, which could raise cholesterol.
Nicola Duncan from Manchester tried the regime for the magazine and said she found it much easier to follow.
"I’m definitely going to stick to it as I don’t really feel like I’m on a diet," she commented.
